Dot plot

Parameters
  • dot_size – The size array that map to marker sizes

  • dot_hue – The color array that map to marker colors

  • xticklabels – Text to put on the x-axis ticks

  • yticklabels – Text to put on the y-axis ticks

  • xlabel – Title for x-axis

  • ylabel – Title for y-axis

  • sizes – The size range of circle markers, (min, max)

  • dtype – Only coerce the value display on the legend, does not affect plotting

  • dot_patch – The dot will be drawn as “circle” or “pie”

  • dot_outline – To draw the dot outline, Default: True

  • outline_color – The color of the dot outline, Default: “#999999”

  • alpha – Control the opacity

  • legend_kw – The options that pass to control legend, should be a dict

  • no_spines – If True, will turn off the frame of the plot

  • no_ticks – If True, will turn off both major and minor ticks

  • ax – Pre-existing axes for the plot. Or a new one will be created.
